Frighteningly I can imagine G. K. Chesterton skinning a cat (atheists for

Well, what Chesterton is getting at is how man
confronts the presence of evil in the world,
and how that fits in with the existence of God.

I noted "Autobiography" is also available in pure text:

For Einstein the problem of God was "too vast for our limited minds"
yet every preacher will confidently tell one what God is and wants.

Were you born with belief, or was it acquired? If the latter then it's
optional.

Seeing belief for what it is ends, not one, but all.

I have the same Christian name as Einstein.
Albertus Magnus is my patron saint.
He has founded the Inquisition in the 11th century or so.
It is weird to name a Jewish boy that.

From what I can see in Wikipedia: he wasn't related
to Inquisituib at all; he was a philosopher.

BTW: this (supposedly) "terrifying" Inquisition
was one of the most lenient courts in Europe
at that time. Common criminals, when captured,
often committed heresy in order to pass from the
jurisdiction of secular courts to the judgment
of the Inquisition.

And Noah commanded all the animals to "Go forth and multiply!"...

The ark quickly emptied, except for two snakes, who stayed behind.

When Noah asked them why, they replied, "We can't multiply. We're
adders."
